Model life for Claremont apartment trial
Following on from the huge success of the WA Apartment Advocacy (WAAA) apartment trial at Oracle, the WAAA is kicking off another social experiment, this time at Claremont by Mirvac.
But unlike the Oracle trial, this one comes with a twist. While local parties will be able to register for the trial post July, in the first instance WAAA is inviting social influencers to stay at the apartments in order to provide their insight.
Kicking off the trial is local socialite and model Benna Catterick, who will be transitioning from her apartment in Kings Park, into Grandstand at Claremont by Mirvac with boyfriend Hugo.
Benna stated that she was looking forward to what the Claremont lifestyle and the western suburbs living had to offer.
“Claremont is ideally located on the train line with such great fashion and dining at Claremont Quarter, plus my boyfriend loves to play a round of golf at the Lake Claremont Golf Course, so this lifestyle will be ideal for us,” Benna said.
“The view across the football oval and the entire precinct offers so many opportunities to comment on via social media and so I am looking forward to my month’s stay which commences on 22 March.”
Also joining Benna with an apartment trial at this stage is Stylist Ivanna Fontana.
Samantha Reece Director of WAAA stated that the new take on the trial allowed for a shift in perception.
“I so often hear negativity towards density and apartment living, yet this is just an alternative housing choice and provides a great lifestyle, in areas that are highly sought after,” Ms Reece said.
“The new era of apartments are of a high standard and located in areas that offer all the benefits of a village life and hence we are looking forward to this discussion being elevated with the inclusion of stylish residents who understand the finer things in life.
“Through these leaders sharing their insights we believe that there will be a greater acceptance that apartment living for many is a preferred housing choice and one that we would like all Councils to offer.”
