More Perth residents opting for high density inner city life

An increasing number of Perth residents are resisting large homes in suburbia and opting for higher density living close to public transport, according to the state's land agency, Landcorp.

Chief executive Frank Marra said there were strong sales across many of Landcorp's infill developments, despite the slowdown in the West Australian housing market.

"Landcorp's infill projects have actually stood up quite resiliently in the softness of the property market generally," Mr Marra said.
