When Lil Moralee was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer two and half years ago, one of her first thoughts was needing to move Brian, her husband of 45 years into a property he could manage, just in case she passed away. Owner-occupiers are overtaking investors in the apartment market

According to Urbis’ quarterly Apartment Essentials report, while apartment sales decreased slightly for the quarter, the decline was not felt nationally, with the Gold Coast increasing 33 per cent and Perth’s market increasing 18 per cent. Of this upswing in demand, owner occupiers represented 42% of the buyers. Perth’s apartment sales were also the highest level of sales recorded since early 2016. For the full story click here:
